CMT Fire Risk Assessment - it’s already a legal requirement!

We use colour coding to enable you to easily recognise high priority issues!

The biggest single reform of fire safety legislation in over 30 years, has now been agreed by Parliament.

The new law, which comes into force soon, consolidates existing fire legislation, and repeals the Fire Precautions Act 1971. At present fire safety laws are scattered across more than 70 pieces of legislation!

The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order improves fire safety by placing the responsibility for fire safety on the employer or ‘responsible person’ for that building or premises. He or she will be required to assess the risks of fire and take steps to reduce or remove them.

You can ensure that you are ahead of the game by having a Fire Risk Assessment of your premises and activities carried out by experts you can trust. CMT Consultants have been carrying out Fire Risk Assessments for many years (this requirement is NOT NEW). Rather than relying on layman’s knowledge which may leave you legally exposed, or having expensive training which you from which you will receive little benefit, why not let us take the strain and do the job for you?
