Course Aim

To give the candidate knowledge and understanding of Site Safety Awareness for the Construction Industry, providing the underpinning knowledge for CPCS certification.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course the successful candidate will be able to:

• Identify Hazards – Understand the principles of Risk Assessment and know the relevance of Statutory regulation ACOPS and guidance documents.
• Have knowledge of safety in the workplace.
• Know accident theory, prevention control and reporting.
• Be more aware of the need to adopt a safety attitude when working on construction sites.
