Course Aim
To provide management, trainee auditors, and experienced auditors retraining to the revised BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Standard with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out internal audits of the Company’s Management System and assessment of compliance against the BS EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Course Contents
Pre- Requisite This course is specifically designed to be taught In Company through practical workshops with delegates working individually and in groups, using the Company’s own Quality System and documentation. Companies would need to supply a copy of their Management System for review at least 10 days prior to the course date.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, successful candidates will be able to:
- Understand the important definitions relating to quality
- Know the history and content of Quality Assurance Standards BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 and BS EN ISO 9004:2000
- Review and understand the Company’s own operating procedures and assess compliance against relevant sections of the standard.
- Identify the different types of Quality Audits and their relevance to the Company’s activities.
- Show understanding of the definitions, requirements and rules of auditing
- Plan and prepare for an Internal Audit
- Produce non-conformance, corrective and preventive action reports
- Analyse periodic audit findings; prepare audit reports and review for trend/pattern analysis
